Spans over 30 years in the Australian and South East Asian property markets in all facets of real estate including residential, commercial, industrial and retail properties. Ian has over the years undertaken various valuation tasks in the Sydney metropolitan area, regional NSW and elsewhere in Australia, with particular emphasis on development and investment properties for various financial institutions.
Prior to establishing Handley Partners Property in 2000 and operating as a Principal in other related businesses in earlier years Ian was employed with Hill Samuel (Macquarie Bank), City Mutual (Capita), Richardson & Wrench and AMP Society in various executive capacities, relating to property and finance.
At Handley Partners Property, Ian co-ordinates and provides comprehensive professional services to the various government clients including Department of Planning, corporate clients such as financial lending institutions, other companies and small superannuation funds and private clients. In addition the company operates a significant commercial, industrial and residential portfolio, and applies professional and best practice standards throughout its business operations to provide optimum returns and solutions to our clients.
The valuation and property/facilities management team are at the "front end" of the development process in terms of determining the viability of such projects, and whether or not there is a "team involvement" for the rest of the Group.
